Anne Waldes – President & CEO
Anne Waldes is President and CEO of TradeLink International Ltd., which she founded in 1993, and has a distinguished career in Logistics and managing international supply chains that spans more than 35 years.
As an internationally recognised supply chain and logistics expert, Anne has been at the forefront of developing innovative supply chain solutions on behalf of global clients in diverse sectors, taking TradeLink from boutique service provider to first choice international logistics partner for leading Fortune 500 companies and international brands.
Anne has extensive experience in designing and implementing robust supply chain solutions that successfully optimise service levels while minimizing inventory and has helped international clients realise the benefits of becoming a ‘demand-driven enterprise’.
In her role as CEO, Anne is responsible for efficiently managing TradeLink’s global operations, from developing regional management teams and local market specialists to nurturing the business footprint and service portfolio in support of Customers’ dynamic supply chain demands.
Prior to founding TradeLink, Anne has held senior leadership roles with international transportation and steamship lines.
Anne is Director and past President of the Hong Kong Canadian Business Association, a Director and board member of Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transportation and regular invited guest speaker on logistics and supply chain themes at transportation conferences and events.
Edna Carr – Vice President Sales
Edna Carr brings more than 20 years international logistics and operational experience in senior management positions and as Vice President of Sales since joining TradeLink International Ltd. in 2011.
An energetic and dynamic leader, Edna has a proven reputation in designing and implementing international sourcing and supply chain solutions on behalf of diverse multi-national clients and with particular expertise in operational process design, global logistics procurement and JIT (Just-in-Time) supply chain execution.
Edna has a long and successful track record of delivering logistics solutions that address large and complex business-critical issues, including assisting clients migrate from traditional manufacturing areas to low cost sourcing hubs in China, Eastern Europe, India, Latin America and elsewhere.
Before joining TradeLink, Edna held senior leadership positions with Agility Logistics, DHL Global Forwarding and Exel Logistics (Deutsche Post).
Edna is board member of CIFFA (Canadian International Freight Forwarders Association) and is instrumental in shaping the favourable development and logistics performance of Canadian freight forwarding and logistics companies globally.
